Chicago, IL – September 30, 2015 – American Street Capital (“ASC”) in collaboration with the Rogers Park Builders Group (“RPBG”) is proud to have sponsored the ribbon cutting dinner for Sullivan High School’s new life skills room this past September.
Sullivan High School is located in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago, IL and is one of the few schools to have a low-incidence program that prepares students with cognitive disabilities for life on their own. The initiative and fundraising spearheaded by the RPBG enabled Sullivan High School to build-out a classroom equipped with a full kitchen, laundry machines and Murphy bed to allow students to learn independent life skills. This is a one of a kind learning environment among high schools in the area and supports Sullivan’s initiative of being a local role model in providing educational programs focused on supporting special needs students.
ASC is proud to be an active member of the RPBG and the positive impacts the organization continues to make in the Rogers Park community.
